Overall, this teleprompter works pretty well — definitely better than most in this price range. The hardware is solid, setup is straightforward, and once you’ve got it configured, it performs reliably.

The software is a bit clunky and could use some polish, but it gets the job done after a bit of setup time. Once you figure it out, it runs smoothly and stays in sync.

What I really like is being able to pull my screen over and make direct eye contact on Zoom and Teams calls. It makes video meetings and presentations feel much more natural and professional.

If you’re willing to learn the software, it’s a strong option and a great value compared to more expensive teleprompters.

I'll start off with the reason I gave it 4-stars instead of 5:
Setup is a bit of a hassle. It's not plug-and-play like 99% of USB devices these days. Read the instructions twice before even plugging it in. You have to have the software downloaded at a certain time, plug it in at a certain time, and restart your PC at a certain time to make sure the prompter is recognized. If you do it wrong, you may have to uninstall the drivers and software, restart your PC, and start over.

Other than that......

It's a bit pricy, being Elgato, but the quality is incredible. The chassis is mostly plastic, but it's solid. Once you get it going, it's incredibly easy to use. It fits every tripod and desk-mounted stand I have since it uses the same mounting bolt as a camera. Using the Stream Deck app, you can remote control the prompter, which is nice. And, functionally, it gets an A+ from me.
